Derek Forbes and Brian McGee - the original bass player and drummer with Simple Minds - have reformed and are playing the songs which they helped to create during their time with the band.

They were responsible for defining the unmistakable sound of the early Simple Minds albums and include in their set list some incredibly popular hits such as "Don't You Forget About Me", "Alive and Kicking" and "Love Song", as well as firm fan favourites "The American", and "Glittering Prize", and rarities such as "Chelsea Girl", "Changeling", and "Theme For Great Cities"

With Owen Paul-McGee providing his vocal talents, and a Tour of O2 Academies around Britain scheduled for September 2010, this new arrangement already promises to be a huge success.
